Resistance Band Exercise Training

30 to 60 minutes: $25 to $45

Most Personal Trainers only offer training with free weights or exercise machines. But after a free weight training shoulder injury a few months the ago, I decided to give resistance bands a try. I had heard so many positive comments about the successes people were having with resistance bands, I wanted to give them a try. (I LEARNED THAT RESISTANCE BAND EXERCISES ARE THE FASTEST GROWING FITNESS PROGRAM IN THE USA!!)

Why Resistance Band Exercises Work

Resistance bands exercises might look tame on the surface, but they can add serious value to your strength and toning workouts. That's because unlike dumbbells, kettlebells and weight plates, which remain equally heavy throughout the entire rep, resistance bands start out lighter at the beginning of the rep (when you are weakest) and become heavier at the end of the rep (when you are strongest) as they are stretched. This is, by far, the best way to workout to strengthen/tone your muscles, without unnecessary strain and pain on your muscles and joints!!! And resistance bands start out at 1 to 3 pounds of resistance and can increase up to multiple hundreds of pounds when you combine a few heavier resistance bands!!!

I was more than a little surprised by the EXCELLENT workouts I got using resistance bands; without the joint pain I was dealing with using free weights and exercise machine.

I was getting similar/better results and my complete workouts took less time with substantially less joint pain. It was truly amazing. I was also able to rehab my shoulder injury without the need for surgery!!

My muscles were responding much better than I expected, without the joint pain! And, unlike free weight and machines, I could keep (AND INCREASE) the tension on the muscle throughout the full rep. It was AMAZING!!!

I began researching resistance band exercises and realize I could get a more complete workout with resistance bands!!!
